Welcome to Ecoleen. By accessing our website (https://ecoleen.ie), requesting a quote, or booking our cleaning services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Scope of Service

Ecoleen provides professional commercial and domestic cleaning services across Dublin. Our services include Office Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, After Builders Cleaning, End of Tenancy Cleaning, and Creche Cleaning. Additionally, we offer specialized external sanitization for workplace IT equipment, such as keyboards, computer monitors, mice, and desk electronics. We utilize industry-approved, eco-friendly, and safe cleaning products.

2. Our 24-Hour Service Guarantee

We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. If any part of our cleaning falls short of the agreed standard, you must notify us within 24 hours of completion. Ecoleen will return to reclean the specific area at no additional cost to you. Because we provide a re-cleaning guarantee, we do not offer monetary refunds.

3. Client Responsibilities & Pre-Existing Damage

  • Access and Utilities: Clients must ensure the property is accessible to our team at the agreed time. The client must provide continuous access to electricity and hot running water. If our team cannot access the property or utilities, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit forfeited.
  • Data Backups: For specialized tech cleaning, the client must ensure that all devices are backed up if they contain critical data. While our cleaning is strictly external, Ecoleen is not liable for data or software loss.
  • Hardware Disclosure: Clients are required to notify our team of any pre-existing mechanical issues, loose keys, cracked screens, or hardware vulnerabilities before any electronics cleaning begins.

4. Mandatory Electronic Handling Waiver

Due to the delicate and high-value nature of IT infrastructure, clients booking services that involve the handling of electronics (such as keyboard and monitor cleaning) must sign our standard Electronic Handling Waiver before our team touches any technology. This waiver is a routine insurance requirement. Failure or refusal to sign the waiver prior to the scheduled start time may result in the cancellation of the electronic cleaning portion of the service, and any booking deposits may be forfeited.

5. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations

  • Quotes and VAT: All pricing provided via our website or phone is a customized estimate based on the size, quantity, and condition described. All final invoices will clearly display Irish VAT at the applicable rate (13.5% for domestic services; standard rates for commercial).
  • Deposits: To secure your chosen date for deep cleans or after-builders cleans, a mandatory €60.00 deposit applies.
  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. If notice is given under 48 hours, the €60.00 deposit is strictly non-refundable to cover our team’s allocated time.
  • Payment: Final payment is due immediately upon completion of the service and can be securely paid via direct bank transfer or in cash.

6. Limitation of Liability

Ecoleen holds comprehensive Public Liability Insurance. However, to the maximum extent permitted by Irish law, Ecoleen and its technicians shall not be held liable for internal mechanical failures, electronic short-circuits, or pre-existing screen defects that manifest during or after a standard, non-invasive external clean, provided our team followed standard safety procedures.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
