Post-construction cleaning for developers, contractors, landlords and homeowners. Fine dust, residue and splashes taken out of a finished property, with the price agreed before we start.
In short: Ecoleen provides after builders cleaning in Dublin from €210 for a one-bed apartment and from €280 for a two-bed house, depending on size, location and how much has been left behind. There is no call-out charge and no weekend surcharge, we are fully insured with public liability cover, and anything missed is re-cleaned free within 24 hours. Call 083 003 3339 and you will have a price the same day.
Almost every Dublin cleaning company answers this question with “contact us for a price”. Here are ours. They are starting prices, and they move with the size of the property, the location, and how much dust and residue the trades have left.
No call-out charge, and the price is the same at weekends. A large volume of debris left on site adds to the cost — see below, because that is the part most quotes hide. Household deep-clean prices are on our cleaning prices page, and commercial contracts on our office cleaning in Dublin page.
This is the line most after builders cleaning quotes in Dublin leave vague, and it is where the argument usually starts. Ours is plain:
If the trades have not cleared their rubbish, we bag it and move it out of the way, but we do not take it off site. If there is a skip on site, we load it into the skip. A large volume of debris takes real time, so it costs extra, and we will tell you that when we quote rather than after the job.
If you want the property cleared as well as cleaned, arrange a waste collection separately and we will work around it. The cheapest way to run it is to have the trades take their own rubbish with them, then book us.
Why contractors and homeowners book EcoleenPost-construction dust is not ordinary dust. It is fine enough to settle back down twice after you think the room is finished, and it needs the right machine rather than a domestic vacuum and optimism.

Ecoleen starts at €210 for a one-bed apartment and €280 for a two-bed house with one bathroom. Larger houses, multi-unit developments and commercial fit-outs are quoted per site. There is no call-out charge. A large volume of builders’ debris left on site adds to the price.
It is the clean that happens once construction, renovation or a fit-out is finished. It takes out the fine dust that settles into every surface, plus paint, plaster, adhesive and sealant residue, grout haze on new tiles, and the dust in window tracks and skirting. It is also called post-construction cleaning.
No. We bag debris and move it out of the way, or load it into a skip if one is on site, but we do not remove it from the property. Arrange a waste collection separately if the trades have not taken theirs. We would rather say this up front than surprise you on the day.
No. A deep clean assumes a property that has been lived in. An after builders clean assumes construction dust, residue on new surfaces, and several passes over the same floor because the dust keeps coming back down. If a property needs both, tell us and we will price it as one job.
After the last trade has finished and, ideally, after their waste has gone. Booking us while joiners are still cutting means paying to clean the same room twice. We prefer about four days’ notice, but we take urgent bookings where the diary allows.
Dublin 13, Dublin 5, Dublin 8, the city centre, Drumcondra, Clongriffin, Portmarnock, Malahide, Donabate, Rush, Skerries and Balbriggan. Sandymount, Phoenix Park and Bray depend on the size of the project. Ring 083 003 3339 and we will tell you straight away whether we can reach you.
Yes, fully insured with public liability cover, which matters more on a building site than in a kitchen. Every cleaner’s documents are checked and kept on file. Ask and we will send the policy on before you book.
No. Carpet cleaning is not a service we offer. Hard floors, tiles and every other surface in the property we do.
Send us the size of the property, what work was done, and a photograph or two. We will come back the same day with a fixed price. No call-out charge, no obligation.
